Wonder App was designed for our client Wonder. They proposed an ordering mobile app designed to connect with the student population as they observed that students were not as engaged with the brand or purchasing their products. They needed to increase brand appeal for as well as the number of students ordering and buying their products but to also offer a fun experience.

Problem & Opportunity

Despite Boulder's large student population, many students were either unaware of Wonder or put off by the premium pricing. To strengthen their presence on campus, Wonder needed to spotlight their core values—premium quality, ethically sourced, 100% organic ingredients—and pair that with a smooth, student-friendly mobile ordering experience.

    Flows

    I streamlined the mobile checkout flow by cutting unnecessary steps and adding an “Explore” path. This feature recommends juices based on preferred ingredients, helping users discover options and order with confidence.

    Rapid Prototyping & Testing

    With limited time, I created a quick lo-fi prototype and tested it with the student poplace for proof of concept. The designs underwent numerous refinements until landing on an app experience that users unanimously found engaging and intuitive.

    Increased Exposure

    The app beta was launched to a number of students in Boulder, increasing the brand explosure, order completion and conversion rates.
